Halogen Floor Lamps
Halogen light technology is a step forward for floor lamps.
Tungsten-halogen technology surpasses the traditional incandescent lighting in both energy efficiency and in the ability to focus the light. While halogen bulbs aren't as energy efficient as fluorescent lighting, they are very efficient at pin pointing their light in a specific direction, thanks to their parabolic aluminized reflector that redirects light that previously would have been scattered in undesired directions. Thus, halogen lights are ideal for galleries and gardens where specific items need to be showcased through spotlighting. Halogen lights are also perfect reading lights.
Note that halogen floor lamps should be chosen as a reading light or a spotlight only - not as a primary source of light for a room. Primary halogen lamps shine their light directly on the ceiling and depend on the usually white ceiling to reflect that light throughout the room. Due to the inefficiency of this process, these lights must be much more powerful than a more specialized lamp. Also, this application wastes the halogen lamp's ability to accurately focus light in a tight beam, and they are restricted to rooms with white or light color ceilings that lack texture.

Most Accurate Home Pregnancy Test
When you want to know whether you are pregnant or not, you want to get the most accurate home pregnancy test that you can find. The good news is that most brands, right down to the cheapest ones you can find, are going to be accurate. However, if you do not test at the right time, what you see when you take the test may not be accurate because of your error. That does not mean that you got a bad test, it simply means that the test can not work until certain things within the body are working. Accuracy depends on the user of the test as much as it does the test itself.
The most accurate home pregnancy test in the world is not going to work if you are testing too early. Though some claim that they can work earlier than other tests, the best time to test to see if you are expecting a baby is after you have missed your period. This could be the day you are expecting your period to arrive or the next or the one after that. Some tests do work well a few days before you are due to have your period, but not all of them will. The longer you can hold out the better you can trust the results that you see.
All pregnancy tests use the same thing to test for a baby. They measure or find HCG in your urine. If it finds this, it reacts with the fiber in the test and gives you a positive. If it does not find any, it will not show anything. All tests that say positive are exact, even if the line is faint. However, the most accurate home pregnancy test can be wrong with a positive answer if you leave it sit for two long. After ten to twenty minutes, a line can appear that is an evaporation line, not a positive indication of pregnancy. That is why reading the instructions on any test is vital to understanding what you are seeing.
If you get a negative on your test, there are two things that could be going on. One would be that you are not pregnant, and the other would be that you have not waited long enough to take the test. Even the most accurate home pregnancy test out there can not give you a positive without high enough levels of HCG in your urine. While a false positive is very rare, a false negative is common when women do not wait long enough to test. If you get a negative, but you are convinced you are pregnant, wait a few more days until after your period should have been due and then test again.
Though all tests generally work, beware of the test that has expired, as it may not give you accurate results. All tests have a line that appears to show you that the test is still good, which can sometimes be mistaken for a positive result. If that line does not appear, even on what you would consider to be the most accurate home pregnancy test, throw it away and go out and get something different. You can get digital tests today that simple say pregnant or not pregnant in the results window, taking away all doubt of other types that may malfunction due to age or user confusion.
